Money is what most people first think when the subject of finance is talked about. As the saying goes, money makes the world go around. Money is used to purchase things and services from people. It is used for exchange of various types of goods not only locally sold but also internationally. Yet with the present state of the global economy, many corporations, and the people within it, view money as a hindrance for economic growth.

Recession in the United States of America and parts of Europe is slowly spreading towards other parts of the world, stretching even as far as South East Asia and Africa. Many large and small corporations are looking into their possible places in the near future if and when recession will be still on going. And many find themselves not going to survive the long-term onset of this global recession because of the increasing decline in sales and increasing amount of debts they may encounter along the way. Thus many of these corporations opt to close down reducing the already small percentage of employed individuals of the present society.

Yet many people don’t lose hope during this trying time. Positive attitude and perseverance are still two of the most needed characteristics of people undergoing this economic recession.  People should bear in mind that the onset of recession is only a part of the present state of the society nowadays. Many other harder times, like after the war, had been surpassed by a lot of people for the mere fact that all they have to do is to believe that there is always a way out of this so-called trying time.
